세계에서 가장 비싼 그림들

최고 경매낙찰가를 기록한 미술작품들.

2005년 최고가 기록을 세운 피카소의 '파이프를 든 소년'은 1억 4백만 달러(현재의 환율로 계산해서 우리 돈으로 약 1000억원)에 달한다.

우리나라에서 부의 상징으로 손꼽히는 도곡동 타워팰리스 124평형(약 50억원) 20채를 살 수 있는 액수다.

그러나 그림의 가치를 거래가격만으로 평가할 수는 없다.

또 소장자가 거래시장에 내놓지 않고 있는 그림들은 가격이 없다.

또 오래전 거래가 이루어졌던 그림들의 현재가격은 당시의 경매가격보다 훨씬 높을 것으로 추정된다.

기네스북은 세계에서 가장 비싼 그림으로 레오나르도 다빈치의 '모나리자'를 올려놓고 있다. 모나리자의 가격은 $670 million으로 추정하기도 하지만 루브르 박물관은 아직까지 그 그림을 팔 생각이 없어 보인다.
